Frequently Asked Questions
Why should I choose your practice as my dental home?
Our staff strives to treat every patient like family. Most of our team has been with our practice for 20 years or longer and we understand the importance of building lasting relationships based on trust and commitment.
We’re dedicated to meeting the needs of each patient by creating customized treatment plans that are tailored to fit your needs. We offer cosmetic, restorative, and general dental services so you can get all of your treatments under one roof without having to see several specialists to get the job done.
We look forward to meeting you and having the opportunity to revitalize your smile.
How can you improve my smile?
Whether you’re looking to improve the function and aesthetic of your smile or need to rid your mouth of infection and decay, we offer various services to meet your needs. Our first focus is always on prevention.
During your biannual appointments, we’ll discuss any problem areas before they become more complex and provide helpful tips on ways you can improve your oral care routine. If you have tooth decay, we may recommend a filling or crown to restore your teeth to the best of health and prevent further damage.
If you want to enhance the beauty of your smile, we offer various cosmetic services that can dramatically change the appearance of your teeth. Whether you want to fill a gap with dental bonding or achieve perfectly straight teeth with veneers, our cosmetic services will give you one more reason to smile.
What forms of payment do you accept?
At our office, we accept, cash, checks, and major credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. We also work with a wide variety of insurance companies to ensure you receive the maximum benefits for services.
If you have any questions about financing, please contact our office by calling (847) 446-0970 and one of our knowledgeable team members will be happy to assist you.
I have dental anxiety, how can you help?
Our dentists are trained to assist patients who experience dental anxiety. If you have a phobia of visiting the dentist or a low pain tolerance, be sure to let us know and we’ll take every precaution necessary to keep you comfortable.
We’ll always numb the treatment area prior to any procedure that may cause discomfort. If you have dental anxiety, there are a few ways you can put your worries at rest, including:
- Bring headphones to your appointment if the sound of drilling bothers you
- Schedule your appointment at a time when you won’t feel rushed to arrive
- Avoid caffeine prior to your appointment
- Use hand gestures if you’re experiencing discomfort
- Refrain from holding your breath
